SAA is located at Pak Sha Village since we are founded in 1997. We rebuilt the original abandoned pig farm to SAA current animal shelter. 

SAA Shelter has been formally included in the Yuen Long South Development Plan, and we were recently notified that the land must be returned by the end of 2024. We have urgent need to look for a new place and relocate animals in our shelter.

Yuen Long (S) Recommended Outline Development Plan, SAA Shelter will be rebuild as educational purpose.

Currently, we are striving to secure a new site from the government that can accommodate all our animals. We hope that we could organize more animal welfare related programme in our new shelter to enhance the public awareness of animal welfare.

We are willing to provide a stable and long-lasting environment where every life can be cared for, in line with our no-kill, no-abandon philosophy.

Applying new land for shelter, designing, building and relocating, we will put our effort in taking care of all of our animals and make sure they can have better adaptation to the new environment.
